Roli’s new app uses 3D Touch to deliver squishy squelchy synths on your iPhone

Music company Roli is know for its range of soft, rubbery keyboards that let musicians bend and squish notes to change their sound. Getting this sort of control from a normal computer screen might seems impossible, but Apple's pressure sensitive 3D Touch feature has opened up new dimensions on the smartphone. To take advantage of this, Roli has released a new iOS app named Noise, which turns the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus into a responsive, miniature keyboard. However, it's the reproduction of the five "dimensions of touch" that you get on Roli's full-sized keyboards that's most impressive. These are strike (how hard you hit the key), pressure (how hard you press it), glide (moving side to side on the keyboard), slide (moving up and down on individual keys), and lift (how quickly you remove your finger from a key). Here

RSS Discussion Question

  1. 1. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
  2. 2. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
  3. 3. Which sites were your favorites?
  4. 4. What else can you use RSS feeds for?
  5. 5. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?

1. I selected the sites that I am subscribed because I like all the things for my personal life. Also for government and news that it is was required.

2. No it wasn't easy because some of my personal things weren't on websites and not on RSS feed. The news one was easy because there is a lot of news websites and government.

3. The sites that were my favorite was TMZ. com, Boston.com, BOS homepage and contemporary dance.

4. I can use RSS feed for school like study guides and homework. Also you can use it for your news and personal life.

5. Maybe just a little to check news feed and what is going on in news and government.

Do Now 11-30

The three people I am most grateful in my life is my moms and my brother. I am grateful for my brother because he is one of those brothers that I can talk to and he won't say anything to our moms. He is also a very strong brother and I learn a lot from that. The other persons I am grateful for is my moms because I just don't have one mom, I have two and I take a lot from that because they are very strong and  love them both equally.

The best Thanksgiving I ever have was going to the Thanksgiving parade with my family. That was the best memory because it wasn't rainy and it was a little chilly. I saw all the balloons, floats and the performers like the Jonas Brothers and the Hairspray cast. After the parade we went to a restaurant that was all Italian. I want to go to the parade one last time because I really like the parade.

Some tradition that I would like to start is saying what your thankful for at the dinner table. Also watching football with whoever I am doing Thanksgiving with.

Isis New York City is our next target

You are probably thinking this is a history article but its a little of both.....
Isis propaganda video was released on Wednesday and aims to sell fear. The nearly-five-minute video appears less slickly packaged than the usual ISIS propaganda videos and cobbled together in the wake of the Paris attacks. "One thing that ISIS understands almost better than terrorism is marketing,'' Miller said. "What you saw last night was a commercial. It was meant to sell a product. The product is fear.

Facebook is rolling out a new notification tab

This server side change was out on Tuesday. When you get the new notification tab on your Android device, you'll see events from friends (eg. birthdays), sports scores for teams you follow, and events you've added to your calendar. With location services enabled, you'll also have local events, movie times, and other nearby info. Your notification settings won't change in the update, which should arrive on your device without a full app update. The new notifications are also coming to users in the US right now with no specifics on international support. If there's too much stuff in there after the update, you can customize by tapping the drop down arrow on each card.

Web 2.0: Multimedia Blog Pre- Posting

Chemistry

The class that I will be taking this year is Chemistry with Mrs. Sistarnik and Mr Belger. Mrs Sistarnik is a great and energized all the time. She is also very happy when she is teaching. She looks like the kind of teacher that loves what she is doing. Mr Belger is a nice man and is very happy. Mr Belger is someone that helps his students out even if they don't want to work.

When I first walked into the class I thought I might liked it because I liked Biology last year. What I expected when class first started was what we left on at Biology. But, also I expected the basic units of science and biology.  The basic units like lab safety and math regarding zeros.

What we learned so far in Chemistry is lab safety rules like don't wear open shoes or don't leave your backpack in the middle of the hall. Also we learned about was zeros and how they are multiplied by zeros and how they are significant are not. Technology is used in the class by a smart board and an iPad that Mr. Belger carries around with him.
